MEANWHILE, IN THE EARLY '90s…
Thomas Florimonte crashed into the comic biz back in the early '90s and never looked back. While mostly known for his SMOOOOOTH DYNAMIC inks, in his thirty-plus years he's worn just about every hat the medium has to offer—writer, penciler, inker, colorist, publisher—and he's done it for a who's-who of publishers: Marvel, Malibu, Chaos!, Acclaim/Valiant, Silverline, Gallant Comics, and plenty more.
Along the way he's left fingerprints on titles ranging from Spider-Man and Night Man to Magnus, Robot Fighter and Lady Death—plus Mississippi Macabre! and Silverline's Team-Up featuring "Campion & Ms. Fury."
Through his own INFERNO Studios' line of Kid Hero comics, Thomas keeps cranking out creator-owned mayhem: Zomboy: Kid Hero, Lil Na' & SoSo, and Mystery Girls
As if making comics weren't a big enough job, Thomas has spent over 20+ years co-owning and running Ka-Blam Digital Printing—the world's largest independent comic book printing company—and launched IndyPlanet, its print-on-demand comics store. The mission: give creators a single home base to print and sell their work, with as little headache as humanly possible.
And despite swearing up and down that he grew up in south Mississippi, Thomas somehow dodged the accent entirely. These days he hangs his hat in central Florida with his wife Rene' and the newest member of the crew—a pup named Gabbie.
